Students evacuated in Police incident at York City school

Students are evacuated from York’s Phineas Davis Elementary School after a report of shots fired inside the building. It happened just before 4 o’clock this afternoon at the school in the 300 block of Ogontz Street.  No students or staff were injured.

The students were taken by bus to Goode Elementary School about a mile and a half away to await their parents. York City Police did take a suspect in custody. Police scheduled an evening news conference to release details of the incident.
