Drivers face another winter storm

As this winter storm skews to the south, truck drivers preparing to head that way were anxious to get on the road.

“I was going to stay here and I heard well it’s going to get worse so I better keep on scooting and you never know what tomorrow’s going to bring,” says truck driver Todd Gallagher, heading towards Virginia. “I’m really concerned, I’m just so tired of this weather, coast to coast.”

PennDOT just got another shipment of salt in this week because some counties are running low. But they say the salt residue on the roads should help the morning commute.

The forecast snow totals are diminished as the snow tracks further south but crews are still anticipating some snow overnight and a slippery commute as temperatures drop.
