Police in Lancaster County have arrest warrants for two people wanted on theft charges. Larea Nicole Strieby, 20, and Richard Martin Brown, 22, both of Lancaster face charges of Criminal Conspiracy and Theft by Deception in connection with a January 8, incident.
According to charging documents, Brown deposited a check into a joint Members 1st account belonging to him and Strieby at a Members 1st branch in Manheim Township.
The check was purported to be issued to Strieby by a Philadelphia business and was later determined to be one of a series of counterfeit checks with the name of that business.
Knowing the check was counterfeit, the pair made a withdrawal of $1,400 based on that counterfeit check, at the Members 1st branch at 2050 Columbia Avenue on January 8.
Strieby and Brown remain at large. Brown is a resident of Jamaica and was in the U.S. on a Visa. Anyone who may have knowledge of the Strieby’s and/or Brown’s whereabouts is asked to contact Manor Township Police at (717) 299-5231.
