A routine traffic stop leads to the arrest of a Lancaster County man on drug charges.  The incident began at about 2:03 am this morning when an East Lampeter Township Police officer observed a vehicle in the 2100 block of Lincoln Highway traveling with non functioning tail lights.

The officer stopped the vehicle when it pulled into the parking lot of the Super 8 Hotel. The driver was identified as Scott Rees, 56, of Gordonville.  In the course of interviewing Rees, it was discovered that he was in possession of suspected crack cocaine and related drug paraphernalia.

Charges against Rees include Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
