BRIEF CHILL: A wedge of colder air has slipped in briefly for today. We start in the teens and make it to the low 30s for highs today under mostly cloudy skies. We’ll nudge the cold out of here for tomorrow. Friday is mostly cloudy and highs dance with 40°! A system comes close to us, bringing its warmth but not its rain at this time.
WEEKEND: The weekend looks pretty good at this point! Saturday, we warm a bit more ahead of a cold front. Highs will hit the upper 40s to near 50°. Sunday, we may start with a few drops or flakes, but we’re mainly dry with only slightly cooler air in play behind the front. We’re going middle 40s. It’s mostly cloudy through the weekend, but we’ll still get to see some sun.
NEXT WEEK: The week looks to start off on a mild note. Monday, we rebound and make it to near 50°. Tuesday we do the low 50s dance. Colder air wants to settle back in for mid to late week. We’re watching the potential for our next potent storm system, which the models are hinting at from the Wednesday to Friday time frame. It’s too far out to know any more, but we will keep monitoring it.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME: We’re only three sunsets away! Don’t forget to change the clocks AHEAD one hour Saturday night before bed. It’s a good time to change the smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarm batteries too!
