A Schuylkill County man is charged after allegedly beating a dog to death with a frying pan. It happened on January 26 at the Millersburg home of Matthew Wrobbel.  State Police say while Wrobbel was at work, the family dog nipped a two year girl and then Wrobbel’s daughter.

Wrobbel’s daughter then called Jason Brown, 19, of Tower City to let Brown know that the dog had nipped her. Brown arrived at the house and gave nicotine to the dog. He then beat the dog with a frying pan until the dog stopped breathing. Brown took the dog’s body to a remote location in Porter Township in Schuylkill County to dispose of it.

Pennsylvania State Police charged Brown with Cruelty to Animals.
