The Carlisle Police department has  identified one of the suspects involved in the Carlisle shooting that injured a teenage girl last month.

Police say Robert Gilmore, 19, is believed to be one of the two the shooters involved in the shooting that happened along the 100 block of West Pomfret Street on Febuary 13. He is being charged with attempted murder, conspiracy, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, and illegal possession of a firearm

Gilmore’s whereabouts are currently unknown, police said. He is originally from Brooklyn, New York and police believe he may have fled there after the shooting occurred.

The second shooter has not yet been identified.

During the shooting, a 16-year-old girl was grazed in the head by a bullet outside of Buzz Express at 39 W. Pomfret Street. She was treated for her injuries and released from the hospital. Police say she was not the intended target.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information on Gilmore’s whereabouts or the identity of the second shooter is asked to call Carlisle police at 717-243-5252.
