Shooting investigation underway in Manheim Township


Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that left one person injured Saturday morning in Lancaster County. Officers responded to the 1000 block of Grofftown Road in Manheim Township around 7:20 a.m. for a reported shooting.

According to police at the scene, a gunshot victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the victim knew the gunman– but would not disclose their relationship.

No other details were immediately available.

Grofftown Road is closed between East Chestnut and North Broad Streets as the investigation continues.
