Two North York Borough homes were hit by shotgun fire early Monday morning. It happened around 2am in the 600 block of North George Street.
Police say someone discharged a 20 gauge shotgun to the rear of two residences. People were inside each of the homes at the time of the shootings. No one was injured. Police also say that while both shootings appear to be connected, the homes appear to have been randomly chosen.
Both residences sustained damage to either their rear windows or doors. One of the homes was shot from the area of Albright Avenue and the second was shot at fairly close range.
