A confrontation on a Lancaster County road leads to one man going to prison. It happened Saturday night, around 8pm at the intersection of New Holland Pike and Geist Road in East Lampeter Township. A driver called police after he said another driver pulled a gun on him. The caller said he was driving west on the New Holland Pike when a white Honda Civic with one headlight on high beam closed in behind him at a high rate of speed. The Honda driver attempted to pass four other vehicles, but oncoming traffic forced him back into the westbound lane, cutting the victim off in the process. At the intersection red light, the victim got out of his car and approached the Honda. The victim says the driver, later identified as Javon Matthew Caldwell, pointed a black handgun at his face and threatened him. The victim went back to his car and called police.

Manheim Township Police spotted the Honda on the Lititz Pike. Caldwell had an infant child passenger in the vehicle. Police found a black replica pellet handgun in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.    Caldwell was charged with Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats and Careless Driving and committed to Lancaster Co. Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
