WINDADV

WINDY WINTER DAY:  Wow!  The difference in a day, or even a few hours!  The brutal chill is now in play, with relentless cold northwesterly winds rocking at 25-35mph with higher gusts.  Expect single digit chills to continue through the morning.  As skies continue to clear, we’ll see sunshine return to the picture today.  The gusty winds continue through the afternoon with highs only in the upper 20s to near 30°.  Tonight, winds fizzle as temps fall to the teens under mainly clear skies.

FRIDAY:  Enjoy the day of sunshine with some clouds passing.  We rebound nicely, closer to average.  Highs dance around the 50° mark.

3 Day Planner

WEEKEND:  Saturday, we warm a bit more as a weaker front rolls toward us.  Expect more clouds than sunshine, but highs should do the low to middle 50s.  A few showers are possible but we look to remain mainly dry.  Sunday, cooler air begins to slip in.  Skies clear and highs only bump into the low 40s.

NEXT WEEK:  A cooler air mass slips in for Monday with highs only in the middle 30s.  Clouds return as well.  Tuesday it’s a bit milder with middle 40s and we’re into the 50s by Wednesday as the next warming trend rolls in with the chance for some showers.  A few models hint at a winter storm Monday, but most of them keep it south of us for now.

Have a wonderful Thursday!
