York City Police search a home on South George for a suspect following a shooting this afternoon. The incident happened just after 2 o’clock along the 300 block of East Maple. The victim was shot several times, but managed to make it to a business in the 600 block of Edgar where someone called 911. There is no word on the condition of victim.
Shortly afterwards police acting upon information went to a home on South George near South Street in search of a suspect. The 400 block of South George Street was closed to traffic until about 4 o’clock. There is no word on any arrests in the case.
