Juvenile charged in series of armed robberies in York City
A 16 year old juvenile faces charges in a series of armed robberies along the 200 block of West Jackson Street in York City. Police were investigating two attempted robberies when they were flagged down by the victims of a third robbery attempt along the same street. Most of the victims were reportedly York College students who live in off campus housing.
The victims pointed out the suspect. Subsequently the juvenile, who was found to be in possession of a knife, was taken into custody. Charges against the juvenile include three counts of robbery relating to incidents on March 14th, 18th and today. Juvenile Probation was notified of the 16 year’s arrest.
