Gun goes off as man is robbed, pistol whipped in Palmyra

A frightening story in Palmyra where a man was robbed and pistol-whipped last night and in the course of the assault, the gun fired. It happened around 10:50pm on the first block of South College Street. The victim was robbed of his money and ID cards. Though the bullet did not strike anyone, the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries from the assault.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, about 6′ tall, of a thin build, and sporting a tribal-style tattoo on his neck. He was wearing baggy black shirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored flat-brim style baseball cap.
