Local singers and instrumentalists, who think they have what it takes to perform at Lancaster Barnstormers games, belted out their best rendition of the National Anthem on Saturday.
Artists gave it their all in front of a panel of judges, including Barnstormers front office personnel, at the Park City Center.
Judges will invite the top scorers to perform the National Anthem for one or more of the club’s 70 home games during the 2014 regular season.
“I think I’m pretty good.  I’ve sung and performed ever since I was little, so I mean I’ve got training so we will see how they like it though,” said Paul Hughes, who auditioned on Saturday.
The Lancaster Barnstormers opening night is May 1st, against the York Revolution.
