It was a great day to be outside in Harrisburg on Saturday, where the 14th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade marched through the downtown streets.
Bagpipers, along with local high school and middle school bands, and many others took part in the parade.
The city was a sea of green, as the crowd showed their Irish spirit.
The parade was led by Grand Marshal Mayor Eric Papenfuse.
“It was a real honor, out with my family and a bunch of supporters throwing candy to the crowds,  it was good to see so many people out, it was beautiful weather and a lot of people having fun in downtown Harrisburg today,” says Mayor Papenfuse.
The parade is organized by the Capitol Region Association of Irish and Celts.
