COLD AGAIN:  The wintry cold weather is on deck for the first half of the week, with a visit from some snow on Tuesday.  Today, expect mostly sunny skies all day with highs only into the middle 30s.  Tonight, we cloud up with lows back to the upper 20s.

COASTAL STORM:  It’s been a close call, but a strong coastal storm system will rocket by to our east.  A bit of energy along with colder air on the back side will help to develop snow showers for the day on Tuesday.  We don’t expect much out of this system; on the order of 1-3”, best on grassy and elevated surfaces.  A few spots may see isolated higher amounts.  Expect it to have minimal impact to your day.  It won’t snow all day long either, but pockets of snow will pass on and off through the day, reducing visibility and making for slick spots.  Highs hit the middle 30s.  The wind picks up late as the snow chance dwindles overnight.

STORMSHEET

BACK TO SPRING:  Wednesday will feature a breezy cold day with highs in the middle 30s again under clearing skies.  But that’s the last of the chill for now.  By Thursday, we hit the upper 40s with increasing clouds.  Friday is warmer, with a high near 60°, but a front approaches bringing us rain showers.  This cools a bit for the weekend, with highs back to the middle and upper 50s for Saturday and Sunday.  Enjoy!
