A former pilot and hospice care patient who is facing a life-limiting illness gets the surprise of a lifetime in Lancaster County.  Hospice care staff at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County surprised 87-year-old Lynn Row with one last plane ride on Monday.  Row, a former pilot who flew planes for over 40 years, hopped into the cockpit at the Donegal Springs Airport in Marietta to experience one final thrill.

Lynn Row, surprised with plane ride, “All my life, from the time I was a little four year old kid I had my first ride and I flew airplanes for 47 years. That’s my life.”

During his career, Row says he flew all across the world and even flew former President Ford and his wife Betty as well as former Penn State coach, Joe Paterno.
