An idea proposing slot machines at Philadelphia Airport

airportPhiladelphia councilman Jim Kenney thinks the busy airport is a perfect place for slot machines.

The hope is that bored passengers would play the slots and create millions of dollars in revenue for the city’s school system.

The idea comes from Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport which has more than thirteen-hundred slot machines in its facility. The proposal still needs to be approved by the state and local officials.

    This is not Vegas, MTO. Have you considered that the Philly airport is already crowded with tight parking? Half of South Philly would be down there adding to the chaos.
