A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with two December home invasions and a shooting in northern York County.

The home invasions happened on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 in Franklintown and Franklin Township.

Andre Highsmith, 18, of Alexandria, Va., was captured in Virginia and is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and burglary, as well as burglary and simple assault.

Highsmith is being held at the Fairfax County Detention Center, awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania.

Police had previously charged Rico Carty Holmes II, 23, of Bethesda, Md., Leonard Charles Hayes III, 18, of Alexandria, Va., and Joseph Tyrone Henderson, 17, also of Alexandria, Va. in connection to the crimes.

Holmes is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, burglary, robbery, trespassing, simple assault and reckless endangerment. Hayes and Henderson are charged with criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and burglary, criminal trespass and simple assault.

According to police reports, the first home invasion happened on Dec. 7 when the men broke into home along Whiskey Springs Road in Franklin Township.

About 45-60 minutes later–the men went to a home along the first block of South Baltimore Street and assaulted a man while he slept. Holmes allegedly shot the 24-year-old victim twice during the attack.
