Storm drain gates stolen in Jackson Twp

Northern York County Regional Police say someone stole metal storm drain grates from a new development in Jackson Township.

The storm drain grates were stolen sometime between midnight on March 22nd and 7am on March 24th. The grates were taken from a portion of Dolomite Drive that is still under construction.

The grates are valued at $200 each.

The investigation into this theft continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717-292-3647 or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.

    This happens all too often. Somebody needs to nail junk dealers who buy this stuff. Storm drain grates are not owned by private citizens.
