Toddler hurt by razor blades glued to playground equipment in Illinois

East Moline, Illinois - A two-year-old was injured in the Quad Cities after razor blades were glued to playground equipment.

WQAD reports a two-year-old was hurt at Millennium Park in East Moline just before 1 p.m. Monday.

“Officers collected the razor blades and other evidence,” East Moline Police Captain John Reynolds said in a statement.

East Moline Police are asking for anyone with information to contact them.

    If I were that kids parents i would be taking them to the hospital to be tested…you never know what those were used for beorethey were glued there!!!

    Looks to me the parent put that there how a two year old even old enough to get up there as well the parent not seeing it

      I'm not saying it's not a possibility, today things happen beyond my belief but if you look, there are other pictures with razors on a vertical pole, he quite possibly could have reached that or who knows where else they were. I think the only purpose of these pictures is to show they were scattered throughout the playground, not just the one that cut the little boy.
