Juvenile arrested in armed robbery of Thaddeus Steven College student

A Thaddeus Steven College of Technology student is injured in an armed robbery inside his dorm room. It happened late last night at Herrington Hall on the campus of  school located along the 700 block of East King Street in Lancaster City.

The 19 year old victim told Pennsylvania State Police that just before midnight he answered a knock on his dorm room door. Upon answering, two males forced their way inside.  Once inside the intruders, armed with knives, demanded money and drugs. When the victim attempted to run away, he was cut on his left hand by one of the males. He suffered a serious tendon laceration.

The victim told police that he was familiar with one of the suspects. After a brief search in the area, they located one of the suspects, a 17 year old Lancaster juvenile.  The search continues for the second suspect.

The juvenile was arraigned and sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail
