WET WEEKEND: Here we go. We get the warmer air today, but it comes at a cost: rain. Highs today hit the upper 50s, but it’s cloudy with scattered showers through the day. Expect rain all day, but it will happen during intervals of a few hours. Rain ends for a brief break as temps fall to near 40° overnight. Then, more rain arrives in a more steady nature for Saturday. Expect rain by midday, lasting through the afternoon and evening. Showers linger into Sunday. Highs Saturday are held in check by the rain to the cool, damp upper 40s. Sunday, we may do some low 50s as a lobe of cool air combines with clouds and leftover showers.
We’re looking at 1-2” of rain across the area through the weekend.
MILD BREAK: Monday, we get more sunshine and milder air. Highs hit the low 60s. And Tuesday, a quick clipper rolls by, that keeps looking drier and drier. We have a few showers left in for now, but without the rain we’ll jump to the upper 60s! Wednesday, we’re in the lower 60s with more sunshine. The break comes to a close on Thursday as a more potent storm system rolls in Thursday into Friday, bringing rain and slightly cooler air.
