One person is dead and others injured following a fiery two-car crash along Route 11/15 near the Cumberland and Perry County line. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of Rt. 11/15 around 10:50 p.m. on Friday.
According to the Cumberland County Coroner’s office, a man driving south along Route 11/15 lost control of his vehicle, crossed into the northbound lanes and into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
Both vehicles caught fire–trapping the driver of the southbound car inside. The man suffered extensive burns and died.
The people in the other vehicle were taken to Hershey Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
No word yet on the identity of the driver killed.
