A wintry mix deluged the region on Sunday and flooded out roads. Residents in Dover Township, York County had to evacuate when Little Conwago Creek flooded Pine Road.

The street floods about once a year but residents were shocked to see it happen so late in the winter. A mix changing from rain to sleet to snow fell all day Sunday and packed a punch. First responders were busy with crashes around the region.

“To be the end of March and still be snowing is something I’m not keen on, says Timothy Mannino, whose neighborhood flooded. “It makes me want to head to Florida.”

Residents say they measured the flood in Dover Township rising by about an inch an hour.
