BAD DREAM:  Are you kidding me?  What an interesting end to the weekend.  After 2-3”+ of rain caused flooding concerns across the region, it got even more interesting.  We thought there could be some wet snow to end Sunday night, but by the time the models began to show accumulating snow, it was too late.  A narrow band of snow set up from Sunbury south through Harrisburg and into York, dumping 2-4” for most with some over 6”!  Use extra caution this morning with slick & slushy roadways in those areas.  Mother Nature will take care of us today with strong sunshine melting it all away!

DRYING OUT: As daybreak arrives, we begin to see sunshine and drier weather for a few days.  We embark on a warming trend today for the week ahead.  Early clouds quickly give way to sunshine.  Expect a breezy day today with highs making it to the upper 50s.  Tonight, the winds fizzle and temps fall to the low 30s.

Spring returns today!

MILDER MID-WEEK:  Tuesday, we make it to the low 60s with some periods of clouds mixing in with sunshine warm front presses northward for Wednesday, adding more clouds and the chance for some showers.  We’ll still work on low 60s for highs.

Spring returns today!

NEXT SYSTEM:  We’re our next system for late week.  This will bring more clouds and more showers on Thursday.  Highs are held to the upper 50s.  Friday, the main chunk of energy slides over us with another shot at heavier rain showers.  Temps are held in the low 50s.  With more rain on an already saturated ground, we’ll need to watch the creeks and streams again for flooding concerns.

WEEKEND:  Saturday, showers may linger as warmer air briefly nudges north.  We’re partly cloudy with highs nearing 60°.  Sunday, we break the clouds as some cooler air brings us back to the middle 50s.
