The U.S.S. Coronado is making the Port of San Diego its new homeport after making it’s way from Florida last month. It is a 418 food, high speed ship that can move faster than 50 miles per hour. It’s scheduled to be commissioned on Saturday at Naval Air Station North Island. Joining us to from the ship is York County native, Lt. Joann Swapp.
