A Franklin County man is dead after he shot his ex-wife’s boyfriend and then turned the gun on himself, according to Pennsylvania State Police reports.

Police were called to a home along the 8100 block of Talhelm Road in Antrim Township around 9:45 Sunday morning for a domestic related shooting.

Investigators said 57-year-old Roy Adams returned to the home he shares with his ex-wife and got into an argument with her current boyfriend. During the fight, Adams pulled out a gun and shot the woman’s boyfriend before killing himself, police said.

The woman’s boyfriend was taken to York Hospital and is listed in serious condition.

She was not hurt during the incident.

No word yet on the wounded man’s identity.

The incident remains under investigation.
