SAN FRANCISCO — Authorities in San Francisco are looking for a group of vandals accused of overturning at least three smart cars last week.

Officials say the cars weigh about 1,600 pounds and are relatively easy to tip.

Smart cars are popular in areas like San Francisco because of their gas mileage and they’re easy to park in tight spots.

Car tipping is classified as felony vandalism.

I hope the vandals are caught and made to pay for any damages to the vehicles. Besides the obvious damage to the body of the cars, the engines are more than likely ruined now because of fluids entering areas where they should not be. Make the vandals pay these costs. The owners of these cars are only trying to survive, just like the rest of us, and they are trying to minimize their impact on the environment.
