Middle school student threatens another student with knife

A 12 year old Dauphin County middle school student allegedly threatens another student with a knife. Officials at Central Dauphin East MS, along 600 block of Rutherford Road had already secured the knife and was holding the student in the office by the time police arrived.

School officials told police that at about 7:26 Wednesday morning, there was a minor scuffle in a stairway between two students. After they were separated the 12 year old retrieved a folding buck knife with a three and a half inch blade from his locker. He then threatened to stab and kill the other student. Other students witnessed the incident and reported it to the office.

Lower Paxton Township Police released the student to his parent. Charges of Weapon on School Property and Terroristic Threats are being filed with Dauphin County Juvenile Probation.
