OVERVIEW:  Mainly clear this evening but a cold front heading our way will bring the clouds back along with a few showers to end the week. Mild conditions for the weekend and the warmest air of 2014 for Sunday and Monday with unseasonably mild temperatures heads our way. A strong trough will help steer a cold front into the area along with rain for Tuesday along with a return of chillier air.

THIS EVENING:  Oh boy is it nice out this evening. Temps in the middle and upper 60’s will fall back to around 60 at 10pm. Clouds will slowly drift back in overnight.

OVERNIGHT:  Becoming mostly cloudy and that will help keep our temperatures in the upper 40’s to near 50, not near as cold as the past few mornings. A few spotty showers will be possible towards morning but most commuters will have a dry drive to their destination.

TOMORROW:  Front drops just to our south but an area of low pressure will develop along it and drag it back towards us with the chance for rain in the afternoon and evening. Highs should be able to warm to the low to mid 60’s before the wet weather arrives.

Not a lot of rain expected.  Some areas could pick up a quarter of an inch maybe a bit more.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Should be a nice weekend to look forward too. Showers will be long gone by Saturday morning. Just a few clouds to start the day before they clear out leaving the rest of the day mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60’s to near 70. Sunday, a warm front pushes north and may squeeze out a few drops early in the day but despite partly cloudy skies, it should remain mild and well above average in the low to mid 70’s.

STARTING WET NEXT WEEK: We stay mild for Monday with highs in the low to mid 70’s again and it looks like now the next system will hold off until overnight Monday into Tuesday. Rain likely to linger into Tuesday followed by cooler air as temperatures drop from the 60’s to the 40’s by Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday looks dry and sunny but much cooler with lows in the 30’s and highs only in the 50’s.

Come on 70’s!
