Welcome back 70’s!

Hello 70s!!

December 22nd marked the last time we had widespread highs in the 70s, so enjoy the weekend!

We’ll have sunny skies and a high of 70 on Saturday. What a day for the Blue & White Game at Penn State!

On Sunday, we’ll have a partly sunny, warm, and breezy day with highs in the mid 70s.

We turn even warmer on Monday. Look forward to a high of 78!

On Sunday and Monday, we get a surge of warm, southerly air ahead of a cold front. An area of high pressure (responsible for this weekend’s nice weather) will also help to send the milder weather up our way.

In fact, any time an area of high pressure slides to our east and off the coast, it always sends us up airflow from the south.

On Tuesday, with that area of high pressure long gone, we’ll get showers as a cold front crosses. We’ll have temperatures in the 60s early in the day. Then, our numbers fall.

We’ll only have highs in the 50s on Wednesday.

The seasonal 60s return on Thursday, and we’ll close out the week with more of them and sunshine.
