A few familiar faces from FOX43 were seen in Dauphin County on Sunday, running in Hershey’s 10K Benefit Race. Members of our team joined thousands of runners as they raced their way through Derry Township for the 6.2 mile race. After racing along Hersheypark Drive, runners ran through the amusement park, including the hills. Proceeds from the race go to several local charities, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central PA. “The majority of the race route is on our properties, so we don’t have to close too many roads and basically its just getting more of the feel for Hershey. It is the Hershey 10K and its great beneficiaries for the 10K, says Kaylee Dugan, Communications Director for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. So how did our team fare in this challenge? Traffic Reporter Chris Garrett finished in 1:22. Morning News Anchor Amanda McCall finished in one hour. Sports Director Todd Sadowski ran a quick 54-minutes. Also in the group, Assignment Editor Valerie Waltz ran 1:11. Hershey will hold a half-marathon in September.
