A fire that destroyed a Dauphin County home over the weekend was deliberately set. The fire broke out at about 6:30 pm Sunday evening at 3507 Elmerton Avenue in Susquehanna Township. The vacate house was destroyed. Damage was estimated at $100,000.
An investigation by Susquehanna Township and the Dauphin County Fire Investigator found evidence of a flammable substance. The Susquehanna Township Fire Chief ruled today that the cause of fire was Arson.
