Three firefighters were injured battling a fast moving brush fire in Adams County. Nine fire companies responded to the scene at about 5 pm Monday evening. One of the firefighters suffered a severe injury when he was struck by a falling tree. He was airlifted to the hospital. No word on his condition. Two other firefighters were sent to the hospital for treatment due to exhaustion.
