After a mild morning in the 60s, we fall into the 40s by later this afternoon.   Tonight, we drop to the mid 20s, so the National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for much of our area.  The NWS left out a few counties because the growing season has not started for places north and west of Harrisburg.

We stay breezy all day, and we’ll even have a wind chill in the teens overnight!

All day, we’ll see rain.  Expect steady rain for the first half of our day.  We’ll even have pockets of heavy rain and a few rumbles of thunder.  The showers will wrap up this evening.

As the showers taper off, expect a few hit-and-miss snow showers.  Though, only a few spots in the higher elevations to the north and west of Harrisburg will see the snow collect.  If you live in those spots, don’t expect anything more than a dusting—at the most.

On Wednesday, we’ll reach 52 by the afternoon under mostly sunny skies.  The winds will diminish by the afternoon.

Enjoy the sunshine through Friday.

Rain returns on Saturday, but we’ll squeeze out a Sunny Easter Sunday before we get more rain on Monday.
