Fairview Township Police arrest 19-yr old James A. Detter III, of Lewisberry for a recent string of thefts. Several thefts were reported on April 9th, from vehicles parked at the Fed Ex facility in Lewisberry.
Detter, who lives nearby in the 600 block of Wyndamere Road, is a former employee of Fed Ex. The GPS capability on some of the stolen phones led police to Detter’s home on April 10th. He admitted to the thefts, and much of the stolen property was recovered.
On Monday April 14th, Detter was charged with Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, and Criminal Mischief for those incidents. Following arraignment he was sent to York County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
