EVENING PLANS:  High clouds have blown in from the south and thickened up through this afternoon.  We’ll keep the clouds this evening, but it stays dry as temperatures slip through the 50s into the 40s.  Tonight, we bottom out near 40°.

EASTER SUNDAY:  The sun comes up at 6:22AM and the day looks great.  We’ll be watching the high clouds start to thin out during the morning, giving way to more sunshine during the afternoon.  We start the day, dry and in the 40s.  By afternoon, with added sun we top out in the low to middle 60s. It’s a great day for activities inside and outside, including church services, egg hunts, and travel.  Enjoy the day!

NEXT WEEK:  It warms for us on Monday with highs climbing into the upper 60s with plenty of sunshine.  We’ll see a front roll in Tuesday bringing both clouds and showers.  Highs should still make it to the upper 60s.  Then, cooler air spills in overnight dumping us back to the 50s for Wednesday.  Clouds break with a cool breeze for the day.  Thursday and Friday, we warm again.  Thursday features sunshine and middle 60s, while Friday is near 70 with increasing clouds and showers arriving late…lasting into Saturday.

Have a safe and Happy Easter if you’re celebrating Sunday.
