CLOUDS BUILD TONIGHT

Showers return Tuesday

It’s been a day filled with plenty of sunshine, but the clouds return soon enough. After a mostly clear evening, clouds build through the overnight ahead of a cold front out to the west. It’s a mild night, with mows in the middle 40s to lower 50s. Tuesday has a cloudy start, but it’s mainly dry. Showers don’t arrive out west until around noon, and move east through the afternoon. A few rumbles of thunder are possible too. Before the rain arrives, most places should be able to squeeze in upper 60s to lower 70s for early afternoon highs. Skies dry out from west to east during the early evening hours.

MIDWEEK COOLING

A cool shot of air behind the cold front temporarily brings temperatures below seasonable averages on Wednesday. It contributes to a windy and partly sunny day with highs in the middle to upper 50s. Thursday a warm front begins to lift north. This keeps clouds situated over the area, but it also helps to warm the area back to seasonable averages. Highs will be in the lower 60s.

MILD BUT UNSETTLED

Temperatures hover a bit above average through the weekend, but there will be shower chances to contend with. A cold front crosses through Friday, bringing a chance for showers. Before the front squeezes through, highs are near 70 degrees. A shower chance lingers for Saturday, but temperatures should still hold a bit above seasonable averages. Sunday and Monday look mainly dry for now, but there is a small shower chance. Temperatures are near 60 degrees.

Have a great night!
