Man cut during knifepoint robbery in Carlisle


A Carlisle man suffered cuts when he resisted a robber who pulled a knife on him. It happened around 11am Monday on the first block of West Pomfret Street. The robber demanded money from the victim. When the victim refused, the robber pulled a knife. The victim grabbed the robber and the knife was dropped as they fell to the ground. The suspect ran away and the victim suffered three minor cuts. The suspect is described as an hispanic male, about 5’5 tall, of a medium build, rocking a reddish/brown beard or goatee. The victim thinks the suspect had a shaved head. He was wearing a red hat and black shirt at the time of the incident.
