Authorities have arrested a man accused of sexually abusing a young girl in Lebanon County. Jonathan L. Smith, 32, of Lebanon, was arrested Thursday and charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children.
According to police reports, the sexual abuse began when the victim was just 7 years-old and occurred between 2012 and 2013.
Smith was taken to Lebanon County Prison in lieu of $200,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 15.
