MUCH NEEDED BREAK:  With swollen creeks, streams and even some rivers, we could sue a break from the rain.  Three days and several inches of rain later, the slow moving storm system finally moves out today.  We expect partly to mostly cloudy skies today, with warmer weather.  Highs will hit the low to middle 70s.  The chance for showers or a thunderstorm bubbling exists through the afternoon.  Tonight, we drop to the middle 40s.

Friday, we should stay dry for most, with partly cloudy skies prevailing.  Highs make it into the middle 60s as some slightly cooler air rotates in for the day.

WEEKEND:  Saturday, a lobe of energy swings through.  This adds clouds and showers to the forecast through the day.  Highs are in the mid to upper 60s.  Sunday, the last wedge of energy moves out.  With it, a few showers may dot the landscape.  Highs hit the middle 60s as well.

NEXT WEEK:  Monday looks sunny, mild and dry.  Tuesday, clouds begin to filter in to the state and we keep them for Wednesday.  Right now, we’re holding off on any shower chances.  Expect temps to rise from the middle 60s to the 70s by mid-week.

Make it a tremendous Thursday!
