State Police are investigating a “Swatting” call incident in southern Lancaster County. The victims were a couple living in a mobile home park in Providence Township.
A call was placed just before Noon reporting a man had shot his wife in the leg and was holding her hostage. This prompted a major response by State Police. Upon arrival on the scene it was quickly determined the allegation was false.
State Police are following several leads in their to determine person or persons responsible for the “Swatting” call. The person or persons responsible could be charged with Recklessly Endangering and False Alarms to Law
