Student charged with having home made weapon on school bus

A 16 year old student in the Central Dauphin School District is discovered with a home made knife like weapon on board a school bus. Another student alerted the school bus driver of the weapon.

Pennsylvania State Police were alerted and stopped the bus on Route 39 near Brynfield Way in West Hanover Township at about 3 o’clock Friday afternoon.

The juvenile is charged with Possession of a Weapon on School Property.

    Makes me wonder if students are permitted to have a fork in their lunchbox and if they have forks and knives in the cafeteria.
