A portion of the Susquehanna Trail was shut down Saturday afternoon after a sinkhole opened up in Conewago Township.
According to police the hole opened up around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Copenhaffer Road. Police believe the sinkhole was caused by a busted drain pipe. Crews arrived on scene and began digging out the hole.
The road was shut down for a little over an hour.
Officials say the sinkhole is under control.
