HARRISBURG, Pa. — NASCAR teams will make a pit stop in Harrisburg next month as they make their way to the Pocono 400.

First Lady Susan Corbett and Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse announced the first-of-its-kind tourism event Monday at the Harrisburg Hilton.

The car haulers will set up camp between 10 and 11:30 on June 5th at the Farm Show Complex for public viewing.  A hauler parade featuring 15 to 20 trucks will then drive to the State Capitol, where the trucks will pause for pictures.

First Lady Susan Corbett says, “Pennsylvania has drawn some of the largest hauler parade crowds in the country as fans stop and some case tailgate along interstate 81 to watch the trucks drive by to and from Pocono Raceway.”

The Pocono 400 will take place June 6th through June 8th in Long Pond, PA.
