Warmer air just a few days away

NICE START:  The week starts rather tranquil, with sunshine early and clouds filling in through the day.  It’s breezy and mild with highs topping out in the middle 60s.  More clouds roll in for evening plans as temps fall into the 50s.  Lows tonight hit the middle 40s.  We could see an isolated shower today into tonight, but most stay dry.

WARMING UP:  A warm front makes a slow approach through mid-week.  Each day, we tack a few degrees onto the high.  Tuesday, we should do upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies.  Wednesday, we’re just about the same with partly cloudy skies and a small chance for a few drops.

NEXT UP:  The warm front passes Thursday, bringing a batch of clouds and showers with a few thunderstorms.  Highs will ramp up to the upper 70s.  We’re warm Friday too, with a run into the 80s!  Showers and thunderstorms arrive after dark.

WEEKEND: Showers and storms linger into Saturday as the cold front moves through.  Highs hit the middle 70s.  On Sunday, for Mother’s Day, we try to shunt the precip south of the state with highs in the low to middle 70s under partly cloudy skies.

Have a marvelous Monday!
