OVERVIEW: High pressure provides a very nice evening with plenty of sunshine. Skies remain mostly clear overnight into the morning before clouds return ahead of a warm front. They continue to build in through the day and by afternoon; there may be a few showers in the area. Showers still possible overnight along the warm front as it slowly pushes northward into Thursday morning. It will be milder Thursday but still can’t rule out showers early in the morning. Friday will be the warmest of the next 7 days with highs flirting with 80 degrees. There could still be a late day shower or storm but a better chance will arrive Saturday with a cold front. Mother’s Day is looking mainly dry with only a small threat for isolated showers. Another front comes in Monday.

EVENING FORECAST: Great looking night with plenty of sunshine. Quiet winds with temps falling from the 60s into the 50s will end our day.

OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and pretty quiet with lows on the cool side in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

TOMORROW:  Clouds will be on the increase as a warm front approaches.  Few spotty afternoon showers are possible with more overnight.  Highs with the clouds and southeasterly flow will be held in the upper 60s.

Hour by Hour

END OF THE WEEK: Thursday may start with a few isolated showers and clouds but more sunshine mixes in through the day. Highs will warm to the low to mid 70s. Flow will remain southeasterly for the start but shift more southerly by end of the week. Friday will be even warmer with morning lows in the upper 50s and highs soaring to around 80 degrees or better. Can’t rule out a late day shower or thunderstorm.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Next front coming in from the Ohio Valley will bring a return threat of wet weather overnight Friday into the start of the weekend. Showers will be likely for Saturday. With the clouds and showers around, highs will be in the mid 70s. Sunday models are split on our rain chances so for now we’ll call it just an isolated chance for Mother’s Day but of course we will keep you updated through the week. Highs will run in the 70s.

Have a nice week everyone!
