A Florida man has been arrested for going door to door selling magazines without a license in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County.  Neighbors are frightened the man roaming through their development had other intentions, like robbery or kidnapping.

Susquehanna Township police say the incident happened Sunday around 4:30 p.m.  in Deer Path Woods.  Police were called to the 2000 block of Rock Fall Road.  They received reports a person was going door to door soliciting.  Their investigation revealed Cameron Ruffin, of Jacksonville, Florida was selling magazines without a license from the Township.  Police arrested Ruffin for violating the Township ordinance requiring permits.  He’s been fined.

One neighbor said Ruffin knocked on her door. Ruffin told her he was trying to win a trip and needed to earn points by collecting neighbors’ information including names and places of employment.

Then he said he was part of the organization, NIC, standing for the “N-word in charge.”
